Board of School Education (BOSE) announced examinations would not be postponed beyond this month choice for class 10 and class 12 students to appear in examinations, as per their interest, in November 2016 (Half Syllabus) or/and March 2017(Full Syllabus).
instead of the standard practice of having to compulsorily attempt questions from each of the four sections of the question paper, the examinees would now get open choice to attempt any 50 per cent questions,
except in language papers like
wherein the question papers are not spread over sections.
“Schools have remained closed for nearly four months due to shutdowns and curfews. The only purpose to hold exams in November is to save the academic career of the students who have to appear in other national and international level competitive exams.”
